Privacy Policy
Effective October 5, 2026
This policy explains what Sollina Images (“we”, “us”) collects when you use sollinaimages.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain English on purpose. If you have a question it doesn’t answer, email sollinaimages@gmail.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), the service you’re interested in, a preferred shoot date (optional) and your message.
- Print orders: name, email, phone, shipping address and the items you bought. Payment details go directly to Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Session bookings: Quickshot bookings are made through Jotform. The information you enter there is covered by Jotform’s privacy policy as well as this one.
- Email and phone calls: anything you send us when you get in touch.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located, device type and how you found us. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies. This data is aggregated and we don’t use it to identify you by name.
- Server logs: our host, Vercel, records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, used for security and to keep the site running.
- Your cart: items you add to the cart are stored in your own browser (local storage) so they’re still there when you come back. That data never leaves your device until you check out.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and plan your shoot.
- To make, ship and support your print order, and send order confirmations and updates.
- To run, secure and improve the website.
- To meet legal and bookkeeping obligations.
We don’t send marketing emails or newsletters. If that ever changes, we’ll ask first and you’ll be able to unsubscribe any time.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run the site, and only what they need to do their job:
- Stripe (payments and checkout)
- Resend (sends our order and contact form emails)
- Vercel (hosting and analytics)
- Google (analytics, and Google Maps when you click our address)
- Jotform (session booking)
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Cookies
The site itself does not set tracking cookies. Google Analytics may set its own cookies to measure visits. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are kept as long as we need them to follow up with you. Order records are kept for as long as we need them for bookkeeping, taxes and damage claims, typically seven years. Session photos are kept as part of our archive. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Payments are processed by Stripe, which is PCI DSS certified. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or email system is completely secure, so please don’t send us sensitive information like card numbers by email.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email sollinaimages@gmail.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm it’s really you before acting.
California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it (this policy), the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, so there is nothing to opt out of. To make a request, email sollinaimages@gmail.com or call (415) 717-5215. You can also have someone make a request on your behalf if you give them written permission.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Links to other sites
The site links to Jotform, Google Maps and other outside sites. Their privacy practices are their own, so check their policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be noted on this page.
